Shredder Text

I want to create some typographic pieces using paper and/or stationery that would usually be thrown away. I think the uniform shapes created by a paper shredder or hole punch etc could be used as the building blocks for some nice designs. Also, I like the fact that this approach pretty much allows me to experiment for free.
The test pieces pictured here actually use coloured paper which I shredded especially, but the shredder itself was about to be thrown away before I adopted it.

Fringe Festival Map

Here's the map I designed for Stroud Fringe Festival, which is taking place in September.

Bird's Nest

A poster design I made for my friend's folk/ blues and roll night, which is called 'Bird's Nest'. We decided to go for a blue background with white 'pleggtrums'. I have already printed the posters, and they are currently drying. I will hopefully post some photos of them in the morning.

No Excuses

I printed these A5 posters, possibly to be included in a little publication a friend and I are slowly putting together. There are 200 in total.

Not Jack Wills

A new design for a t-shirt, and possibly a few sweatshirts and hoodies. This design was quite fun, because I didn't use a computer at all during the printing process... I just painted the design directly onto tracing paper, and then used that to prepare the silkscreen.

French Bulldog Stickers

A few stickers I printed.

French Bulldog Print

I just made this new print.
It's an A6 one-colour screen print, printed onto some nice Somerset stock I had lying around. I also printed a layer of text over the top, using just acrylic binder.
Hopefully when this has dried, it will still be slightly glossy if it catches the light.

Bad Consequences.

I had an idea for a book I would like to make.
The book is based around the game 'consequences'. It will feature photographs of several notorious serial killers from the UK, allowing the reader to create their own ultimate villain.
I plan to make a limited run of the book, which will be perfect bound by hand.

Dinosaur T-Shirts

Here are two initial designs for what will probably be a series of three dinosaur t-shirts (the third design is going to be a Brontosaurus).
The designs are based on wooden construction kits, which sort of look like dinosaur skeletons.
I am also planning to produce a three-colour screenprint based on the same set of objects.

Fringe Teaser Poster

Here are some new designs for the first Fringe Festival poster.
I personally like them a lot more than the old designs. I think they provide a lot more elements which might be carried on throughout the rest of the series/ promo material.
